There are three inSēquio license types: Standard, Student, and Academic. For Student and Academic licenses, you willl need to complete a verification process before the end of the 30-day trial period. If this is not completed, your license will be terminated and your card will not be charged.
To verify a license, go to the licenses page, click on the license key you want to verify, then click Submit Verification Information and follow the instructions. The eligibility and verification process for each license type is detailed below.
Standard License
Eligibility
All entities are eligible for a Standard License.
Verification Requirements
None.
Academic License
Eligibility
To qualify for an Academic License, the software can only be used for non-commercial academic research. This means the research must be conducted by faculty or students at accredited colleges or universities without funding from or benefiting any commercial entities.
Verification Requirements
You will be asked to submit additional documentation for proof of eligibility. This documentation must include:
- Full name
- Full name of the educational institution
- Confirmation of faculty status
Here are some examples of appropriate documentation, assuming they include the information above:
- Link to educational institution website confirming faculty status
- Official letter from the educational institution confirming faculty status
- Faculty ID (photo not required)
- Your current course schedule dated for the current school term
- Faculty/staff pay stub from the current school term
Any sensitive information (e.g., SSN, employee ID, financial information) should be redacted prior to submission.
Student License
Eligibility
To qualify for a Student License, you need to be an actively enrolled student in a K-12 school or an accredited higher education institution, and you must use the software solely for personal educational projects. Graduate students who are paid educational stipends (commonly as research or teaching assistants) do not qualify for a Student License. Instead, they should obtain the software via an Academic License.
Verification Requirements
You will be asked to submit additional documentation for proof of eligibility. This documentation must include:
- Full name (must match the name as shown in school registration)
- Full name of the educational institution
- A date within the current school term
Here are some examples of appropriate documentation, assuming they include the information above:
- Official letter from the educational institution confirming student status
- Registration receipt
- Tuition receipt
- Student ID (photo not required)
- Transcript
Any sensitive information (e.g., SSN, grades, financial information) should be redacted.
